If you’ve hung out with me here long enough, you know that I LERVE throwing parties. One of the things I love about parenthood is that it gives me an excuse to throw themed birthday parties for my kids. But when Miss Bean told me this year, she wanted a Paw Patrol party, I was decidedly unexcited. After checking with her multiple times to make sure she really really wanted Paw Patrol this year, I decided that we’d do it my way, and I came up with this glam Paw Patrol party.

Grilling Card
Ok, guys, Father’s Day is right around the corner. And maybe last week’s World’s Greatest Pop card isn’t your thing. So here’s another option.
I made this last year for Hubs when I gave him some nice grilling supplies. And as a side note, this card is in no way Father’s Day specific, so you can use it for a birthday or whatever as well.
This card is fairly simple, and looks more impressive than it is. So let’s get to it, shall we?
Black & White Birthday Card
I haven’t posted a card in a while, and I found this while going through my old photos. It’s a card I made for my mother-in-law’s birthday back in May and forgot to post.
I didn’t take in-process photos again (I’m always in such a hurry when I make cards) but this is really simple to make if you have the right materials.
This card illustrates why it can be really helpful to buy coordinating materials. If you go to the craft store, you’ll find lots of matching papers & embellishments. I’ve never really been one to buy those things together, but after making this card, I will.
This paper was part of a gift my grandma gave me last Christmas. It’s by Creative Memories and is part of a larger set.
