I want to make sure that you read that up there. Did you see it? NO SEW. For real. You don’t need any sewing skills whatsoever to make a blackout shade for your windows at home. If you can cut and glue, you can make this shade, friends.

Handmade Gifts For Kids
Ok, Friends. This is my last post on handmade gifts, and I’m sharing two ideas perfect for kids.
The first are some flower clips that little girls will love. They’re very simple to make and don’t take long at all.
Let’s get started!
Handmade Gift– Steampunk Hair Clips
Of all the handmade gifts I made last year, these were my favorite.
I nearly kept them.
But instead, I gave them to my friend Steph, for whom I made them. I still haven’t made any for myself.
Someday.
You may be shocked at how easy these are to make. Seriously, seriously easy but they look so intricate no one would guess.
Handmade Gift– Fabric Flower Headband
Earlier this week, I shared with you an idea for a handmade beaded necklace. Today, I’m sharing with you the headband I made to go with it.
It’s not super matchy, but has similar colors, and can be easily worn with the necklace or separate. I for this project, I used a headband base I found at a craft store, taffeta and organza in a grey color, silver sequins, and purple bugle beads. The design is really simple, but I feel it gives a nice impact.
