Chubby Little Snowman

It’s winter.

It’s cold.

I have a toddler.

Needless to say, we’re running out of indoor activities. If you’re having a similar experience, I have a little fun project for you.

Little Man goes to an ECFE music class every week, and this is something the teacher has done a few times and LM thinks it’s awesome, so we decided to re-create it at home and share it with you. Plus this is simple enough a toddler can help make it. (more…)

Black & White Birthday Card

http://byambershands.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/black-white-birthday-card/I haven’t posted a card in a while, and I found this while going through my old photos. It’s a card I made for my mother-in-law’s birthday back in May and forgot to post.

I didn’t take in-process photos again (I’m always in such a hurry when I make cards) but this is really simple to make if you have the right materials.

This card illustrates why it can be really helpful to buy coordinating materials. If you go to the craft store, you’ll find lots of matching papers & embellishments. I’ve never really been one to buy those things together, but after making this card, I will.

This paper was part of a gift my grandma gave me last Christmas. It’s by Creative Memories and is part of a larger set.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Here’s a really simple idea for Mother’s Day cards!

Sometimes you want something more personal than a store-bought card, but maybe you’re not crafty enough to make anything complicated. This card is for you!

What you need:

Card made for our moms. Photo taken by Frost on Flower Digital Photography.

We had this super adorable picture of Little Man that I wanted to give our moms anyway. So we turned it into its own card.

By using photo corners, you can remove the photo from the card without any damage.

Just stamp a simple message on the outside, and write what you want on the inside!

That’s it!
